Ingredients for Bean Curd Sticks
Primary Ingredient: High-quality soybeans, primarily yellow soybeans. Soybeans should be plump and free from mold. The protein content of soybeans directly impacts the yield and quality of bean curd sticks. Higher protein content results in a thicker protein film.
Secondary Ingredient: Drinking water. Used for soaking soybeans and grinding into paste. Water must be clean and free from impurities.

Process for Making Dried Tofu Skin
1. Pre-treatment
Sorting: Remove impurities from soybeans to ensure pure raw materials.
Soaking: Place sorted soybeans in clean water for soaking.
Washing and Dehulling: Rinse soaked soybeans repeatedly to remove detached skins.
2. Pulp Production
Grinding: Mix soaked soybeans with an appropriate amount of drinking water in a specific ratio. Grind into a smooth "raw soy milk" using a stone mill or industrial grinder.
Filtering: Strain the raw soy milk through cheesecloth or industrial filter cloth to separate "soy pulp" from "pure soy milk." Repeat this filtering step 2-3 times to ensure the soy milk is smooth and free of impurities.
3. Boiling
Preheat and Defoam: Pour the pure soy milk into a dedicated boiling pot. Preheat over low heat to 50-60°C (122-140°F). Foam will form abundantly and must be skimmed off.
Boil: Continue heating until the soy milk reaches a full boil. At this point, the proteins in the soybeans gradually coagulate under high heat, absorbing air and fat from the surface to form a thin, glossy protein film.
4. Membrane Removal
Gently lift the membrane's edge by hand and slowly pull upward until it completely separates from the soy milk surface.
5. Drying
Air-drying: Hang the lifted tofu skin on specialized drying racks in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight to dry naturally.
Trim and package: Once dried, the tofu skin will naturally shrink and harden. Trim any uneven edges. Proceed with packaging-we offer bagged or gift box options.
