Bean curd skin is a specialty of Nanfeng County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province. Bean curd skin, also known as tofu skin, is a soy product made from high-quality soybeans and water through traditional processing. The production process of this soy product has a history of more than 600 years. It was developed by Jiang Zhiliang, a merchant in the Ming Dynasty. It is as famous as Nanfeng tangerines and clay stoves and is known as one of the "Three Treasures of Nanfeng".
Bean curd skin is not only famous in Jiangxi Province, but also has become a well-known local product in and outside the province due to its unique production process and rich nutritional value.
