Fried bean curd sticks are made from dried beancurd (fuzhu), which is derived from soybeans. Therefore, they retain the high-quality plant protein found in soybeans. This protein contains essential amino acids that help repair and build body tissues.

They contain a variety of minerals such as calcium, iron, and phosphorus. Calcium and phosphorus contribute to bone health, while iron plays an important role in blood formation.

High Fat Content:
Deep-frying causes the product to absorb a significant amount of oil. The fat content of regular fuzhu is about 20%, but after frying it can exceed 50%, much higher than that of un-fried fuzhu.

High Calorie Density:
Due to the increased fat content, the caloric value also rises sharply. Every 100 grams of fried beancurd sticks can contain more than 500 kcal, which is about 1.5 times that of regular fuzhu.
